We will survive and thrive!

How it works

As a young girl I watched my Mom apply her makeup, paint her nails, and match her outfits. She loved the color purple. If she could get it in purple she would have it. She had every shade of purple eyeshadow and lipsticks. She would see anything purple and yell out “Purple Passion”! When I was a senior in high school my mother revealed that she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She shared with us that she had lost her Mother to this disease. In 1994 we buried her with the same disease. In 2017 when my twin girls were 1 year old I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I went through a double mastectomy and multiple surgeries since. During these times I had connections with different resources and funding that helped to cover bills during that time.

In honor of my Mother Joan Davis, I have named one of my liquid Matte Lipstick after her favorite saying “Purple Passion” and it was her actual favorite color to wear as well. In doing so I am sowing all the sales from this lipstick into organizations that take care of women during their breast cancer treatments, surgeries etc. starting with the Breast Center at St Francis Hospital where I received treatment.
